There is an aspect of sex that makes some people afraid of it — the raw carnality, the abandon to lust which grazes upon (or even breaks right through) the boundary into violence. And the energy on which this kind of Sex seems to feed, also, is closer to home, more relatable to modern life — the rebellious (at times, destructive) sexual assertion of young adulthood, the angry intensity, angst and suicidal oscillations that one may observe in urban young people, as they fervidly don and shed a number of sexual personae and gender roles, in a quest for identity. Body modification (tattoos, piercings, scarification, etc.) are part of the wardrobe, the lifestyle, and visibly influence the images that come out of this fascinating, and most welcome genre of porn.
